The exchange centred on the Ombudsman Board's expertise on state audits within the framework of the United Nations treaty bodies. Both sides emphasised that international and national networking is crucial for sustainable change.
The representatives of the Ukrainian Ombudsman's regional offices also reported on their work under the ongoing war conditions. The number of complaints has risen significantly since the start of the war.
