SCHOOL CLASS VISITS OMBUDSWOMAN STOISITS DURING CONSULTATION DAY IN ZELL AM SEE

In the beginning of October the 12th grade of the BG/BRG Zell am See visited the consultation day held by Ombudswoman Stoisits at the District Administration. The consultation day offered the 14 pupils who had been accompanied by their teacher Gertraud Salzmann the possibility to ask questions and discuss various topics.

A lively discussion developed between the pupils and the Ombudswoman at the gothic conference room. The pupils were very interested in the activities of the Ombudsman Board. The knowledge of young people in Austria today concerning the duties and possibilities of the Ombudsman Board was scrutinized. During the two-hour discussion the pupils criticized the fact that the Ombudsman Board is not represented within social networks which are frequented especially by young people.
