Ombudsperson Schwarz welcomed a delegation from Rhineland-Palatinate

Gaby Schwarz, Ombudsperson of the Austrian Ombudsman Board and Secretary General of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI), received a delegation from the Petitions Committee of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Parliament and the Ombudsperson of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate, who is also the Ombudsperson of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Police.

The aim of the visit was to exchange experiences on the similarities and differences between the Austrian and German complaint systems for citizens. Ombudsperson Gaby Schwarz also used the opportunity to discuss current developments regarding their respective activities with the participants from Germany. Additionally, the representatives expressed their interest in the IOI. The IOI Secretary General Gaby Schwarz gave a comprehensive overview of the activities of the IOI.
