Korean Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission visits the Austrian Ombudsman Board

On 6 December 2012, IOI Secretary General and Ombudsman Peter Kostelka welcomed a delegation of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) of the Republic of Korea at the Austrian Ombudsman Board (AOB) in Vienna.

In the course of a study visit to Europe Sae-Kee Park, Director of the Complaint Investigation and Planning Division within the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, and five staff members met with Ombudsman Institutions and Citizens’ Representatives in Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Austria. The discussion at the Austrian Ombudsman Board focused on the exchange of experience regarding the complaint handling process and the new tasks and powers of the AOB as National Preventive Mechanism.
