The Israeli State Comptroller and Ombudsman Micha Lindenstrauss visited the Austrian Ombudsman Board on Wednesday, 20 October 2010. Lindenstrauss met Ombudswomen Dr. Getrude Brinek and Terezija Stoisits and discussed the working methods of both institutions as well as options for an enhanced cooperation between the two institutions.

„We are very pleased with this valuable exchange of experience. The Austrian Ombudsman Board which also hosts the General Secretariat of the International Ombudsman Institute (I.O.I.) is interested in enhancing cooperation that improves the citizens’ rights to a transparent and fair public administration”, said Ombudswomen Gertrude Brinek and Terezija Stoisits.
